OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Fontenelle Elementary principal Eric Nelson has been placed on administrative leave, an Omaha Public Schools spokesperson confirmed to 3 News Now Tuesday night.
The following letter was sent home to parents:
Dear Fontenelle Elementary Families:
We wanted to inform you that Principal Eric Nelson is out on leave. Scott Sturgeon, Executive Director of School Support and Supervision, will support Fontenelle during this time.
Due to privacy issues, we cannot share information beyond that at this time.

Nelson is not the only Fontenelle staff member currently on leave. Gregory Sedlacek, 30, was placed on administrative leave after he admitted to sexually touching a 7-year-old girl earlier this month. Tuesday evening, Omaha Police released reports saying therewere six total first-grade girls targeted by Sedlacek this school year.
