A former Lincoln Police officer has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault, according to a Wednesday release from the Nebraska State Patrol.
Former LPD Officer Gregory S. Cody, 54, was taken into custody following the investigation of a report made by the victim to a health-care professional at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln, who then reported the assault to NSP on Oct. 17.
