A blast from the past and a screener Pixar family favorite are topping the list of events planned for this year's Loessfest, set for May 25-28 at Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park.
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will headline the free Loessfest concert at 7:30 p.m. May 26, organizers announced Tuesday morning.

As part of Disney Night, a screening of "The Incredibles" will start at 9 p.m. May 25 in the park after Choo Choo Soul, of Disney Junior fame.
Other festival highlights include an Omaha Symphony concert followed by a fireworks display; a 5K and half-marathon; a bike ride; an ongoing exhibit from conservation photographer Alex Wiles; and the festival wraps up with an encore presentation — "back by popular demand!" — of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"!

Friday, May 25
- Water features grand opening
- 6 p.m. – Jeff and Paige open for Disney Night, featuring Choo Choo Soul
- 9 p.m. – Movie in the park: "The Incredibles"
Saturday, May 26
- 8 a.m. – Run Loess half-marathon & 5K (registration required)
- 7:30 p.m. – Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons concert
Sunday, May 27
- 11 a.m. – Bike the Bluffs
- 8 p.m. – Omaha Symphony concert, followed by a fireworks display
Monday, May 28
While all Loessfest events are free, there are some do's and don'ts. For example, blankets are allowed, but lawn chairs are not; outside food and soft drinks are allowed at "most events," but patrons are not allowed to bring in alcohol.
These are other rules are outlined on the Loessfest website, along with parking information. Organizers expect to provide a list of vendors soon.
