An Omaha polling place was forced to move after construction crews hit a gas line Tuesday afternoon.
The gas leak happened near 32nd and Frances around 5:30 p.m. Douglas County dispatch says Omaha Fire Department was evacuating homes in the area as a precaution.
The affected evacuation area includes a polling site at Our Lady of Lourdes School at S 32nd & Creighton Avenue, so voting for Ward Precinct 0313 is moving to Hanscom Park Pavilion at 3201 Woolworth for the balance of today's voting through 8 p.m.
