Today is National Fast Food Day and with 13,000 new franchises opening in 2018, Google Trends data shows that Nebraskans want more Burger Kings.
The study looked at Google search volume trends as well as more specific data based on searches for franchising information and start-up costs.
To open a Burger King, you need at least $500,000 in liquid assets and a net worth of $1.5 million. You can see a full breakdown of startup costs and restaurant popularity by state here.
