Former governor of Nebraska Dave Heineman will be Donald Trump's honorary campaign chairman in the state.
Heineman and Governor Pete Ricketts will appear with Trump at his rally in Omaha on Friday. Heineman, who left office in January 2015, said it's time for Republicans to unite around Trump.

State Senator Beau McCoy will serve as the campaign's state chairman.
Trump's rally is set at the Werner Enterprises Hangar at Eppley Airfield at 4 p.m. on Friday. Doors open at 1 p.m. and people attending are urged to get there early. They will be required to go through security checks including metal detectors.
