Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts has changed his schedule and now says he will greet President Obama on the tarmac at Offutt Air Force Base on Wednesday, January 13.
Governor Ricketts had previously said that his schedule did not allow him to meet with President Obama during his visit. He had said Lt. Gov. Mike Foley would greet him instead. Governor Rickett's office announced the schedule update Tuesday night.
President Obama is slated to speak at UNO's Baxter Arena tomorrow at 4 p.m. His Omaha visit comes a day after his final State of the Union Address.
KMTV Action 3 News will have complete coverage of President Obama's visit on air and online at KMTV.com.
