OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Cars lined up for miles in Sarpy County on Tuesday as mourners waited to pay tribute to a Vietnam War Veteran.
Most of the people who attended the funeral for Private First Class Stanley Stoltz had never met him. They simply wanted to honor the 73-year-old man who served our country after seeing posts like the one below on social media.

After the post went viral some of Stoltz's family came forward but many were unable to attend. That's when the people of Omaha and surrounding communities stepped up to honor Stoltz who grew up in Iowa.
Monica Miller heard about Stoltz's funeral and came to Omaha National Cemetery. Her husband and children were in the military and she felt compelled to be there on Tuesday. "He served our country, and he served for people who he had no idea who they were so I felt that we should come out here and represent him," Miller said.
Hundreds of others agreed with her.
