OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Nebraska Medicine welcomed members of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln football team. The Huskers visited with some young patients and posed for pictures.
They also signed autographs for people, including employees.
Nebraska Medicine posted about the visit on social media. They included a video which explains how the team wants to get the word out about the 2019 Nebraska Football Road Race 5k & 1-Mile Fun Run on July 14th. The team partners with the Team Jack Foundation to raise money for pediatric brain cancer research at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
