The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is investigating a boat collision on the Missouri River near Council Bluffs.
The accident happened around 10 p.m. Friday night. A boat operated by 45 year old Corey Fuller of Omaha collided with a boat operated by 43 year old Anthony Wilson of Bellevue. Fuller's boat sank to the bottom of the river. Fuller and his passenger, 42 year old Kristine Schwab were rescued from the water by another boat. Wilson's wife, 37 year old Deanne Wilson suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.
The Iowa DNR says alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
