Douglas County District Court judge Peter Bataillon ruled that convicted quadruple murderer Nikko Jenkins is competent for the death penalty phase of his trial.
It’s at least the third time Jenkins’ competency has been questioned.
In June, Jenkins testified at his own competency hearing.
Nikko Jenkins pled no contest to killing four people in August of 2013.
