One of accused Creighton killer Anthony Garcia's Chicago-based attorneys will stay off the case.
Douglas County judge Gary Randall rejected a motion to allow Alison Motta back on the case. Randall says Motta can still appear at the trial, but cannont speak or sit at the defense table during the trial. Earlier this week, Omaha attorney Jeremy Jorgenson, who is working with the Mottas, filed a motion asking Randall to reconsider his decision to disqualify her over comments she made to media outlets including KMTV. Randall says those comments interfered with justice and violated ethics rules.
Garcia's trial is scheduled to begin June 13th.
