A 42-year-old man has been arrested in a murder case from June 2015.
Friday Omaha police booked Kak Thoan for criminal homicide in the death of Timothy Rasmussen. Police found Rasmussen dead near 24th and Howard on June 20, 2015.
Thoan has been at the Douglas County Department of Corrections since June 23, on separate charges of Robbery and 1st Degree Assault. He was bound over to District Court on these charges and is awaiting trial.
Anyone with information about the Rasmunssen's murder is asked to call Crimstoppers at 444-STOP. Tips on all homicides that lead to an arrest will be paid up to $25,000.
