At No More Empty Pots in Florence, sweet and savory smells fill the air. Multiple kitchens are part of a Collaborative Community Centered Food Hub that is home to different programs for the community.

In one kitchen, a workforce training program helps certify individuals who live in poverty, were formerly incarcerated, or are veterans.

Next door in another kitchen, Christina Whitney, an Omaha woman starting her own baking business, prepares French macaroons.

The nonprofit also serves lunch daily to the community, feeding bellies and the business community so the trainees in the workplace can get experience.
