The Kwik Shop that was the scene of a carjacking yesterday morning was robbed at gunpoint overnight.
Police responded to the incident at the 3600 block of Leavenworth Street around 2:30 a.m.
A worker told officers a man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants went into the store, flashed a gun and demanded cash and cigarettes.
He then fled on foot northbound.
The suspect is described as a hispanic or black male in his 20's. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 444-stop
