Two Nebraska cities made the top ten in a list for the most caring cities in the nation.
Lincoln and Omaha were ranked No. 2 and No. 9, respectively, on WalletHub’s list comparing the 100 most populated cities on how they care for the community, take care of the vulnerable and homeless and care in the workforce.
While coming in at No. 2 overall, Lincoln ranked first for “highest number of people that work in the community and social service per capita.”
Though Omaha came in at No. 9 overall, the city ranked No. 4 for “highest percentage of sheltered homeless persons.”
