Two planes owned by the airline which has been transporting coronavirus quarantine evacuees landed at Eppley Airfield in Omaha on Monday morning.

After disembarking, passengers were transported to Nebraska Medicine which houses one of the country's few biocontainment units.

Officials are now holding a live press conference at Nebraska Medical Center/UNMC to provide an update about the people taken to the hospital Monday morning.

Over the weekend, American evacuees who were quarantined aboard a cruise ship in Japan were brought back to the U.S. Some of them have tested positive for the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
