OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — On Monday, it was announced Frederick D. Franklin was chosen as the special prosecutor for the death investigation of James Scurlock, who was shot and killed during protests in the Old Market.
Franklin held a press conference at the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center Wednesday.

Timeline: Once investigstion has been completely reviewed by him and his team, then court will enpanel a grand jury. Preference is sooner rather than later

Franklin says it will take time to research everything. Adds they’re still accepting evidence and is in the process of creating an email and mailing address where information can be shared directly.
