OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) -- — A longtime Omaha business is changing how they’re getting their one of a kind meats and sausages to customers.
Since 1949, Frank Stoysich Meats has been one of the best local butchers in town located at 52 & Q St.
Two weeks ago they decided to go to curbside pick-up only for customers. You can call, go online, or email your order.
It’s a big change for customers, but one they’re embracing.
Owner Frank Stoysich Jr. says it’s something they didn’t have to do but felt they needed to.
“We just felt that it was the right thing to do not only for us, our employees, and co-workers but also for the safety of our customers,” Frank Stoysich Jr. explained. “We just felt that right now with all that’s going on it was a good way for us to do everything we can to just try to keep everybody safe til we get through this.”
Restaurants have been forced to go curbside and delivery only, but grocers and meat shops like Frank’s haven’t.
Stoysich Meats at 52nd & Q St. has had to cut back their hours, but Frank Jr. says business has been good through the craziness.
