OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - We've heard many people share concerns and questions regarding kids and face masks at school board meetings and on social media.
3 News Now wanted to take some of your most asked questions straight to an expert, from do they work to how to talk to your kids about wearing them.
3 News Now asked Dr. John Lowe, the assistant vice chancellor for health security at UNMC, his thoughts about sending his own kids to school this fall. He says it hinges on two factors.
“What is the disease we're seeing in Nebraska or Omaha this fall, have things gotten worse or gotten better and what are the safety precautions that are put in place in schools,” he said.
