Local police officers are sharing photos of their first day on the job in remembrance of a Virginia police officer killed on her first day.
Ashley Guindon, 28, was working for the Prince William County Police Department on Saturday, Feb. 27, when she was shot and killed while responding to a domestic call, according to reports.
Two other officers were also wounded and the suspect’s wife was killed.

On Tuesday, Omaha area police officers took to social media to honor Guindon’s memory with photos of their own first day on the job.
