Omaha Police was dispatched Thursday morning to a person robbery.

According to the victim, he was trying to sell his phone to a man, who he found on a Craigslist ad.

The victim says when he arrived at the meeting place, 78th and Crown Point, the suspect was already on scene and says he approached him, got into his car and handed him the cellphone.

The victim says the suspect then sprayed him in the face with an unknown substance and stated that he had a gun. When the victim was able to open his eyes, the suspect was holding a large knife and demanding the victim's wallet and keys.

The victim gave over his belongings and exited the vehicle. He gave officers a description and discovered the victim's debit card was being used at the 89th and Maple Street Mega Saver.

Detectives developed a lead and identified the suspect as 28-year-old Tyrod Lee.

Lee was booked at the Douglas County Corrections for one count of robbery, one count of use of a weapon, one count of theft by receiving a stolen item for an unrelated burglary case, and a misdemeanor traffic warrant.
