OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Nebraska running back Maurice Washington is back in court Thursday.
Washington is accused of sending a video to a former girlfriend, then underage, performing sexual acts. He was not in the video, nor did he record it.
He was last in court on September, but that hearing got pushed back to today. Our partners at the Omaha World-Herald report that Washington has had five court appearances since being originally charged in February.
Despite being suspended for the first half of multiple games this season, with some being for a violation of team rules, head coach Scott Frost says Washington will continue to play and he will not consider any further discipline for Washington until the matter is completely handled.
