OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Tomorrow, we will learn just how much COVID-19 is costing the City of Omaha when Mayor Jean Stothert is scheduled to present her budget request for 2021.
Last month, the mayor said she was looking for ways to make up the $40-80 million shortfall caused by the response. The city did not qualify for key federal funding.
The county is offering to use at least $25 million of its federal funding to help Omaha
