The Metro Community College Board have called for an emergency meeting this Saturday at 8:00 AM concerning Fred Conley's membership on the Board of Governors.

According to the board's meeting agenda, the board is considering a resolution to accept Conley's resignation from the Board of Governors.

KMTV has obtained a copy of Conley's resignation letter in which you can see above.

The Federal Department of Education has threatened to withhold student aid and other funding, if he remains on the board.

in June, a federal agency banned Conley from taking part in federal contracts.

They say he failed to disclose conflicts of interest while serving on the Omaha Housing Authority Board.

The school might lose 25 to 30 million dollars if Conley remains chairman of the board.

It will take place at the Fort Omaha Campus Mule Barn (Building 21), Room 112, located at 32nd and Sorensen Parkway.
