Premature babies, some born as early as 24 weeks along, had a reunion with those who helped them grow strong at Methodist Women's Hospital.
Sunday, more than 100 former patients and family members came back to meet up with members of the hospital's Neonatal ICU team.
The reunion welcomed back 20 sets of twins and five sets of triplets.
The day kicked off with a parade from Methodist Women's to West Dodge Station Elementary.
I was here, well my son was here for 104 days so there were a couple nurses that were the same that we had day after day," Clancy Timmerman, whose son was born prematurely said. "Just to come back and talk to everybody because I was here pretty much every day"
This is the eighth year the event has been held.
