OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - The Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands plans to build a club at Millard Central Middle School that will open in the fall of 2018.
The students will receive hot meals at night, help with homework and spaces to just have fun throughout the new building, which held a groundbreaking Wednesday.
Administrators from the Millard Public Schools district and representatives from the city of Omaha were in attendance for a groundbreaking.
Students believe the club is a win-win because it gives them a place to go and help people and meet new friends.
