OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The College World Series is in full swing and Mississippi State is back in Omaha for the second year in a row.

Last year, Mississippi State fan Terry Powell went viral after telling a 3 News Now reporter that "his wife's boyfriend" sold a prosthetic leg for him to come up here to cheer on the Bulldogs.

Powell is back in town again this year and he said his wife's boyfriend is still in the picture.

"In honor of Father's Day I was able to bring my wife's boyfriend's kids up here so they could enjoy the magic of Omaha and TD Ameritrade," Powell said.

Powell isn't solely up here to tell jokes and cheer on the Bulldogs, he said his goal is to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.

"My mom passed away from Alzheimer's in 2013 around the same time we were last in the finals against UCLA," Powell said. "We raised over 7,000 last year and we have that campaign launched again."
