OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A familiar but alarming sound will be heard across the metro this Wednesday.
Douglas County Emergency Management plans to conduct the first monthly siren test at 11 a.m.
Further testing will need to be completed this month, so the sirens may be briefly heard at different times.
A system-wide special siren test will also take place on March 25th during Severe Weather Awareness week.
The monthly tests will take place through October.
