RALSTON, Neb. (KMTV) — 3 News Now’s Zach Williamson is hitting the road to learn about our neighborhoods, and the people who live and work there. Today, he picks up Ralston Public Schools Superintendent Jason Buckingham.
Buckingham is in his second year as the district's superintendent, but has worked in the school district for 25 years. The Glenwood, Iowa native has been busy since taking the helm — helping lead the district through renovations at each of the district's eight schools.
- We get to see several of the facilities that have been renovated or are currently being renovated, and talk about the impact they've had on the district.
- Buckingham talks about what makes the district unique and where it is succeeding, along with the challenges RPS and education as a whole are facing.
