The drama continues surrounding accused Creighton killer Anthony Garcia's defense team.

Garcia's Chicago-based attorneys Robert Motta, Sr. And Bob Motta filed a motion Tuesday asking Judge Gary Randall to reconsider his decision to remove Alison Motta from the case.  Randall removed Alison Motta from the case on the eve of the trial after she made comments to the media including KMTV about a DNA test that she said completely exonerated Garcia. Randall allowed the other Mottas to remain on the case.

In the motion filed by the Motta's Omaha attorney Jeremy Jorgenson, claims former Motta local attorney Dan Stockman should not have been allowed to withdraw from the case. Jorgenson's motion states Stockman was motivated to withdraw for reasons having much less to do with a possible ethical violation, but because he did not want to participate in a six-week trial.

A hearing on the motion is scheduled for April 21st.
