There were 18 people killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways in February, according to a release from the Department of Transportation.
Of the 18, 14 were not wearing seat belts.
Four fatalities occurred on the interstate, 11 occurred on other highways and three died on local roads.
Additionally, 16 of the deaths occurred in rural locations.
There were 16 traffic fatalities in February of 2017.
