OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Stocking stuffers are a holiday tradition for many families and those small goodies can create big fun for more than just our kids.

The Nebraska humane society hopes you will remember our four-legged friends, too. It's holding a shelter pet stocking stuffer drive tomorrow.

You can drive up and drop off toys, blankets, pet supplies and treats for the shelter's dogs and cats.

"We are going to have tubs right out in our parking lot, people can drive up and drop off toys and treats and we will take anything for the animals. we will have animals out there greeting people in holiday wear," said Pam Wiese, the Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing for the Nebraska Humane Society.

Saturday’s event runs between 10 a.m. and noon at the Nebraska Humane Society near 90th and Fort in Omaha.

Santa will be there and the Nebraska Humane Society will treat guests to hot chocolate.
