Wintry driving conditions and whiteout conditions across much of Nebraska and Kansas impacted travel Sunday.
Nebraska State Patrol responded to about a dozen crashes and 50 motorist assists since midnight.

Strong winds and blowing snow reduced visibility and made driving conditions hazardous.
