OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium will debut Margaritas and Monarchs, a new Citizen Science workshop for adults 21 and older next week.
Participants will learn about the migration of the monarch butterfly and its importance to Nebraska. Pheasants Forever and Quails Forever in Nebraska will be on site to share their expertise on planting pollinator habitats. Staff will work one-on-one with participants to sketch out gardens for their own backyards.
The cost for the event is $15 per person and includes two drink tickets. Bud Light Lime-A-Rita's will be available, as well as other adult beverages. To register for the event, click here.
