OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A last-second push for votes fell a bit short, but did keep Nebraska on the calendar.
A picture of a Nebraska State Patrol cruiser in front of a purple sky of lightning in the distance finished fifth in the National Cruiser Competition.That means it will be the picture for the month of May.
NSP made the announcement on Twitter saying "Looks like May will be the best month of 2021."

After finishing 5th in this year's #CruiserCalendar vote, the Nebraska State Patrol cruiser will grace the month of May on next year's @State_Troopers_ calendar!
