Governor Pete Ricketts and Nebraska State Patrol Brad Rice urged Nebraskans on Monday to remain vigilant and cautious as escaped inmate Timothy Clausen remains at large.
Omaha police chief Todd Schmaderer said Clausen was last seen in Northeast Omaha around 10:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
The 52-year-old is one of two inmates who escaped last Friday, from the Lincoln Correctional Center.
The other escapee Armon Dixon, 37, was captured on Saturday in Lincoln.
“Protecting the safety of the people of Nebraska is our number one priority,” said Governor Ricketts.
"We urge Nebraskans to remain vigilant and to report any information about the whereabouts of Timothy Clausen to law enforcement by calling 911.”
Clausen is considered dangerous and citizens are asked to remain vigilant by being aware of their surroundings.
