After a cold April, and rainy start to May, businesses in Old Market are looking forward to Berkshire Hathaway weekend to bring a big sales boost.
The Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders meeting draws thousands to the Omaha metro area. The nice weather and the farmers market will also be a big draw to Old Market.
Chocolat Abeille, a new shop on 11th Street, is stocked full for the weekend. Owner Tina Tweedy says she is ready for her first Berkshire Hathaway weekend.
"All of our customers this week are wishing us well," she said.
