Olive Garden delivering free Labor Day meal to first responders

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Labor Day is a time to just enjoy a day off. For local first responders, however, the work never stops.

An annual tradition continues today when Olive Garden is serving a meal to first responders.

All of the more than 850 Olive Garden restaurants will be participating in the 18th consecutive Labor Day meal delivery. First Responders will enjoy combinations from Olive Garden's delivery and catering menus, such as Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti & Meatballs.

Olive Garden has served more than 14,000 meals on Labor Day over the years.

In Omaha, the Dodge Street location is delivering to fire station #53 on 84th and Dodge Streets. The location at Lakeside Hills Plaza is delivering to CHI Lakeside Hospital, fire station #56, and the Southwest Precinct of the Omaha Police Department.
