Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky coming to Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — She's considered one of, if not the best swimmer in the world, and she's in Omaha today discuss the upcoming swim trials.

Ledecky has won five gold medals and one silver medal, all since coming onto the national scene with a splash during the 2012 Swim Trials.

The Olympic gold medalist is at the CHI Health Center today to promote the 2020 event, joined by the Chief Operating Officer of USA Swimming Mike Unger and Josh Todd of the Omaha Sports Commission.

Along with being an Olympic medalist, Ledecky has also won 14 world championship gold medals, the most for a female swimmer in history. Her performance in 2020 could potentially make her one of the winningest Olympic athletes of all time.
