The city of Omaha and some surrounding communities have declared snow emergencies for a snowstorm expected to arrive overnight Monday.

Bellevue - From 11 p.m. Monday to 11 p.m. Tuesday
The declaration of a Snow Emergency is intended to expedite the removal of snow from Bellevue streets and city code makes it unlawful for any vehicle to be parked on city streets between the stated hours. During the Snow Emergency, any vehicle in violation of this declaration is subject to towing and /or fine at the owner’s expense.
The issuance of a Snow Emergency in Bellevue is rare due to the inconvenience to our citizens, and only declared in extreme situations. The City of Bellevue and the Bellevue Police Department remind you that the towing and/or ticketing of vehicles in violation of this Snow Emergency will be done at the discretion of the Police Department and the Bellevue Public Works Department based on how these vehicles are affecting their snow removal efforts.
Bennington - From midnight, Monday to noon Wednesday
Blair - From 8 p.m. Monday to noon Wednesday
Blair municipal code prohibits vehicles from being parked on all city streets until all accumulated snow has been removed from the streets. The only area exempted is the downtown area which is governed by no parking from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. All vehicles parked on city streets during this time shall be subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
Council Bluffs - From 8 p.m., Monday to 5 p.m., Wednesday
The Emergency Parking Ban applies to all streets posted as snow emergency routes by the city of Council Bluffs. During a Snow Emergency Parking Ban, cars are subject to a find and/or towing at the owner's expense.
Crescent - From 5 p.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Wednesday
Vehicles are prohibited from parking on posted snow emergency routes and/or city streets until they have been cleared of snow.
Fremont - From midnight, Monday to noon, Wednesday
Glenwood - Beginning midnight Monday
No person shall park, abandon or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street or city-owned parking lot, other than designated overnight parking areas. The snow emergency parking ban shall continue form its proclamation until the snow ceases and the roads are plowed.
Gretna - 7 p.m. Monday to noon Wednesday
The intention of a snow emergency is to facilitate the removal of snow and ice from Gretna city streets thereby it is unlawful for any automobile to be parked on any public street within the city for the designated timeframe.
La Vista - 10 p.m. Monday until further notice
Please move all vehicles from residential streets to allow plow crews a clear path.
Logan - From midnight Monday to noon Wednesday
Minden - 10 .m. Monday to 10 p.m. Thursday
Vehicles are prohibited from parking on posted snow emergency routes and/or city streets until they have been cleared of snow.
Neola - 10 p.m. Monday to 4 p.m. Wednesday
Vehicles are prohibited from parking on posted snow emergency routes and/or city streets until they have been cleared of snow.
Oakland - Midnight Monday to 4 a.m. Wednesday
Vehicles are prohibited from parking on posted snow emergency routes and/or city streets until they have been cleared of snow.
Omaha - Beginning midnight, Monday
Parking will not be allowed on snow routes and the odd-even parking restrictions will be in effect on all residential streets east of 72 nd Street. On Tuesday. February 2, cars must be parked on the side of the street with even-numbered addresses. On Wednesday, February 3, cars must be moved to the odd-numbered side of the street. Cars in violation of the residential parking restrictions will be ticketed. Cars left on snow routes will be towed.
Papillion - 10 p.m. Monday
During this time, Papillion residents are asked to not park their vehicles on the street. This will make it easier and more effective for equipment to clear snow from the streets.
Residents are asked to avoid traveling during the snow emergency. Those who must travel are asked to use caution around snow removal equipment and personnel.
City ordinance also states that sidewalks be cleared within five hours after a snowfall or by 8:30 a.m. if the snow happens overnight. Residents with a fire hydrant near their property are asked to ensure that it is cleared and visible.
Pottawattamie County (unincorporated territory) - From midnight, Monday, lasting 48 hours unless otherwise terminated or extended
During a county snow emergency it is unlawful for any vehicle to be parked on or along any public roadway in the County. Additionally, no parking is allowed along any posted snow emergency routes for the duration of the snow emergency. Vehicles in violation of these parking restrictions are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense and owners may be fined.
Sarpy County - midnight Monday, lasting 48 hours unless rescinded
Upon declaration of such emergency parking on either side of any public roadway within Sarpy County shall be unlawful. Any vehicles in violation shall be subject to being ticketed or towed. The Public’s cooperation is greatly appreciated to expedite the clearing of our streets.
Treynor - 6 p.m. Monday to midnight Wednesday
Vehicles are prohibited from parking on posted snow emergency routes and/or city streets until they have been cleared of snow.
Underwood - Midnight Monday to 6 p.m. Wednesday
Vehicles are prohibited from parking on posted snow emergency routes and/or city streets until they have been cleared of snow.
Yutan - 8 p.m. Monday
The city office will also be closed on Tuesday.
