During the 2 o'clock hour, temperatures in the Omaha metro fell 14 degrees.
“If you step outside, it’s like it’s a rude awakening. You go, ‘Oh my goodness, what has happened?’ The cold front has arrived across the area,” said KMTV Meteorologist Jennifer Zeppelin during KMTV Action 3 News Upfront at 4.
She said temperatures will continue to fall as the cold front pushes south.
At noon, Omaha’s temperature was about 58 degrees. At 2 p.m., it fell to about 47 degrees.
