OMAHA, (Neb.) KMTV — Aaron Kolala is a camp connoisseur. He's great at playing Ga-ga, singing, and he's not bad at archery either.

Kolala can do all of these activities at Camp Zorinsky. Every year, more than 4,000 kids like Kolala get to enjoy the outdoors for a week of day camp at places like Camp Hummel, Hanscom and Zorinsky. It's become so popular Omaha Parks and Recreation has expanded with Camp Adams.

"It's important to get kids out and active, especially in the summer. We saw a real need for kids to want to go to camp," said Marquette Ryan with Omaha Parks and Recreation.

For just $20 kids grades 1st-7th can spend one week at Camp Adams with transportation and meals provided. Each additional sibling is $15.

While your kids may not master all the camp skills in one week like Kolala, odds are they will learn a few new skills and have a lot of fun.
Camp Adams still has a few openings left for the month of July. The week of camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more info on Camp Adams, click here.
