Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teenager, though they say she is not believed to be in danger.
The Omaha Police Department is investigating after 13-year-old Elizabeth Hetrick was reported missing Tuesday evening.
They say she wasn’t at school Wednesday, but foul play is not suspected in the investigation.
She was last seen around 7:20 p.m. taking the garbage out at her home near 25th Avenue and Marcy Street.
She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 90 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
