Omaha Police investigate overnight shootings

Omaha Police are investigating a pair of shootings early Monday that sent two people to the hospital.

 

The first happened near 18th and Grace Streets around 1:30 a.m.. Officers arriving at an accident where an SUV stuck a pole found 19 year old Jamal Fitzgerald with a bullet wound. Fitzgerald was taken to CHI Creighton with an injury that is not considered life threatening.

 

The second happened around 2:45 a.m. near 42nd and Evans. Officers found 37 year old Datina Anderson had been shot by someone who Anderson says fired several shots from outside her home.  Anderson was also taken to CHI Creighton with an injury that's not considered life threatening. 

 

Right now police have no suspects in either shooting.
