UPDATE: Just before 10 p.m. we learned that Gabriel Washington has been found safe and the search has been called off.

Omaha Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 15-year-old who has autism.
The parents of Gabriel Washington say their son never returned home from Burke High School Monday night. They told officers that their son has autism and usually sticks to the same route on his way home to the area of 66th and Sprague.
Washington is a black male who is 5'8" and weighs 165 pounds. He wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black Nike shoes and a black backpack.
School officials are still searching the high school grounds and reviewing video surveillance. They are also checking with bus drivers to see if anyone has seen him.
