The Omaha Police Department responded to two early morning cuttings on Saturday.

The first occurred near 43rd and Fowler shortly after midnight. According to a report, 39-year-old Eliseo Caal's roommate, 22-year-old Sinard Gomez, came from behind him and cut his face with a knife.

The second incident occurred near 24th and Harney at around 4:30 a.m. Police say the victim was standing in front of residence in the area when he was stabbed with a knife following an argument.
