Omaha woman arrested for allegedly shooting, killing husband along interstate

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — An Omaha woman is under arrest after reportedly shooting her husband on the side of I-80.

Nebraska State Patrol says Joshua Jourdan and his wife, Kathleen, were arguing while traveling down the road. According to Nebraska State Patrol, Joshua pulled over on the side of the road, and that's when Kathleen pulled out a handgun and shot Joshua twice.

Law enforcement says the couple's two children were in the back seat at the time, and both are unharmed.

Kathleen called 9-1-1 to report the shooting and remained on the scene. She was arrested for second degree murder, the two children are in protective custody.

The investigation remains ongoing.
