Omaha Police have arrested a man after he shot another man in North Omaha early Friday morning.
At around 1:03 am, officers were dispatched to the area of North 34th Street and Seward Street for a shooting.
OPD officials said they arrived on the scene and located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Witnesses directed officers to a suspect who was taken into custody without incident.
The victim has identified as 23-year-old Wayman Clark.
Clark was transported to Creighton Hospital and is in critical but stable condition.
The suspect, who was identified as 21-year-old Johnathon Semans, was interviewed and admitted guilt.
Semans, was booked into Douglas County Corrections for several charges including rFelony Assault - Shooting, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, Possession of an Unregistered Firearm, Bond Review, Criminal Destruction of Property and Possession of Marijuana Less Than 1 Oz.
