Early morning shooting leaves one man injured

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — An early morning shooting left one man with non life-threatening injuries.

Police were called to the area of 24th and Ellison around 5:30 a.m. and found one man shot in the back, and talking on his cell phone. Police say he was not being cooperative but was still transported to Nebraska Medical Center.

The victim was identified as 35-year-old Walter Kimbrough.
